Hélène van Oudheusden

Does this sound familiar? You started your school job enthusiastically and

then life changes. You now feel that you are not getting the best out of yourself and you are too busy. Who doesn’t feel tempted, then, to conform to ‘this is how things are done in the organization’ instead of wondering how what you are doing feels?

Have you ever thought about taking charge of your work happiness based on your innermost beliefs and wishes? It is my passion to guide teachers and school directors to grow as a person and as an educational professional.

I am dedicated to educating migrant children

When I saw the many dinghies with migrant children arriving on Greek shores I could not believe my eyes. There is a strange physical and emotional reaction when you witness boat landings. The adrenaline rush is sky high because you never know whether all people on board are safe.

You don’t know whether to laugh or cry. The cries of children and their parents will stay in my heart forever. Cries of joy and of sorrow. For having left their homes and loved ones behind, for their relief about a (mostly) safe landing, trusting that a new life could begin by entering Europe.

To every child I met that tries his best to adapt to a new life in a strange country I dedicate my wholehearted support. Thank you for allowing me into your world…
